Air Conditioning for Homes

Four Seasons HVAC are highly experienced installing air conditioning systems in Homes and apartments.

There are several different options when cooling/heating our homes and are highly dependant on what room(s) areas you want to cool/heat.

Starting with a simple wall mounted unit to provide local cooling or heating to that one room only whether a bedroom, living room or conservatory.

Wall Mounted Air Conditioners

Wall-mounted air conditioners are usually the most cost-effective option for a single room and are easy to fit without the need for redecoration. Wall-mounted units are long, thin, and placed at a high level on the wall.

When choosing a wall-mounted unit, it is important that they are placed in the optimum position in the room that will provide maximum air flow. Considering that homeowners are wanting to cool bedrooms for long periods of time, our surveyor will ensure that the unit is placed in the best position to avoid any unnecessary cold drafts.

For multiple bedroom we also often suggest that our clients install a multi unit system meaning that up to 4 rooms can be connected to a single outdoor unit and gives individual temperature and timing functions.

Ducted Units for Bedrooms

Ducted air conditioning systems are ideal for a more discreet and quieter installation. They are  the most aesthetically pleasing as the duct-work and internal units are hidden entirely in a loft space with only small grilles remaining visible inside each room.

Whole House Heating/Cooling & Hot Water Heat Pump System.

These systems are a complete renewable system to provide a low energy consumption system that not only provides a complete whole house heating system via underfloor heating and/or radiators or via special heating/cooling "radiators" and hot water via an outdoor heat pump system, like this.

As many customers want to move away from gas or oil boilers or they live in rural areas where supplies are hard to get, and with financial incentives available then whole house heating/cooling and hot water systems from renewable sources such as heat pumps then it makes financial sense as the running costs are much lower when compared with fossil fuel alternatives.

Mitsubishi and Daikin are two manufacturers who have developed systems over the last few years are we are happy to look at discussing and designing systems for your own property.

To save us re-writing a description of what they are, this article on Grand Designs magazine explains what they are and how they work
